My wife and I walked into the Grape Escape for a quick bite to eat, and WOW! What a view we got... people at every table enjoying their food, the employees were buzzing around with smiles and positive attitudes, the scenery inside was absolutely outstanding! My wife ordered a tuscan panini and I had a southwestern chicken sandwich. Unbelievable!!! Very homey. It will be our new favorite lunch destination (and YES I saw that they actually do offer catering).

I was told by an employee of the Alabama Visitor Bureau to try this restaraunt out. I was told it was a locals favorite and I can understand why. I walked in and the atmosphere was very class and cozy. They employees immediately greeted me and were very helpful. I ordered one of their signature sandwiches called the Big Bad Roast Beef by their recommendation. My wife ordered the Portobello Panini. Our kids built their own sandwiches. Our whole meal was incredible. We ate their every day while we were in town. The homemade chicken or shrimp salad is fantastic. They also have some of the best homemade desserts (try the triple chocolate cake) The tomato basil soup is to die for. The only complaint I have is that they don't have The Grape Escpape Deli where I live!!!
