We visited in July 08 for a weekday lunch. The restaurant was not very busy. It was clean and offered the standard stuff. Service was ok.
On our way in, we noticed the "Beware of Alligator" signs near that pond and parking lot. We asked our waitress about this and she told us just where to go to view the alligator - she even might have suggested that we take some saltines from the salad bar with us (wink). We had more fun watching the alligator, turtles and fish from their outdoor covered patio. It made something forgettable into a really fun memory.
