The staff treated my family and I terrible. I have never in my life been treated in such a manner. As a twenty two year old I am a semester shy of graduating with a business degree and a concentration in marketing, which is why I do not understand the need and abusurdity of being so condecending to my family and I, the customers.
Since we didn't even get to the food before we left I'll explain why I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. I feel it is important to share this because I wouldn't wish this kind of service on anybody.
Traveling back to our home state after a nice summer vacation, we purchased a tiny well behaved puppy, pug. We made a stop in Alabama and decided to dine after a long drive. As we entered we were greeted by a person whom we asked if it was ok to have our puppy by our side at the deck. She said it was fine and we proceeded to go to the deck and sit. The waitress finally came and asked what we wished to drink. My mother who has previously dined in some of the finest restaurants in Mexico, asked if she could bring in a jar of traditional flavored water such as Jamaica. The waitress replied , "This is a sophisticated restaurant" in a offended tone of voice. Then the waitress went on to say that the reason for not having this traditional water was because this Mexican Restaurant was geered towards Americans. Soon after that a second waitress came by and asked us to leave because we couldn't have a puppy in the restaurant!!!
To train staff on good customer service!! it really does go a long way.
