After waitig 1 hour to be seated and watching hired help sitting out back continuously with min of 2 up to 4-5. After seating gave order and recieved salad and appitizers and nothing else. People after us recieved food we waited 1 hour and the waitress ketpt telling us we were up. Finally she did get a manager who came out and said that the ticket was taken care us since it had taken so long and food was in window. Well we waited another 30 min and left. We never recieved out food. Will NEVER go to another resturant owned by same people. I understand there are 5 of them in Gulf Shores with diffeent names

We stopped here on the way home from fishing because they had Prime Rib on the sign outside and we were ready for some beef. They must have changed cooks since the previous reviews because my friend's prime rib was dee-licious as was my first serving of All-You-Can-Eat ribs. Unfortunately, my second serving of ribs was a bit too fatty and I couldn't finish it. Loved the eclectic decor and the service was great. No waiting for a table. Of course, we were there on a weekday during the off season so we didn't have all the tourists to tend with. I would certainly recommend Jake's to friends.

Steak was thin and overcooked. Shrimp Alfredo tasted like it came out of a can and there was precious little (4???) shrimp. Meal cost $44. Beer was the only thing that tasted right and it wasn't particularly cold. Need a new chef.
