Of all the things I could say about our experience, the easiest explanation would be this. I ordered the All you can eat fish fillets; I'm at the ocean; I could have picked the restaurant down the road offering grouper...instead, I get all you can eat catfish...for $12.99. I can get that anywhere for less than $10. Nice enough people, but not very customer oriented. My wife asked to substitute hush puppies for her roll on the broasted chicken; nope, they can't do that. I won't make Docs part of my Gulf Shores experience again!

Doc's has a great menu. We always go there when we are in Orange Beach or Gulf Shores. The seafood is awesome, and so is the broasted chicken. This is a favorite of the locals...so you must try this place when you visit.

Doc's on Canal Rd. has the best crab claws, The dinner is not on the menu so you have to ask for it.

We eat at Doc's on Canal Rd. everytime we are in the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area. The fried crab claws are the BEST!!! The Craw Claw Dinner is not on the menu so be sure to ask for it. Everything else I have eaten there is very good, but I just like the craw claws the best. This place is where the locals eat so you know from experience that it is very good.
